Traditionally, a similar configuration consisting of a traditional CRT monitor, monitor shelf, keyboard and keyboard drawer requires between 10U and 13U of rack space. The compact design of the new rack-mount monitor/keyboard drawer offers the same functionality while utilizing a fraction of the space, allowing more room for servers and networking equipment.
