APAC TELECOMMUNICATIONS SIGNS NATIONAL PAGING COMMITMENT.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 1, 1996-- APAC Telecommunications Corporation is pleased to announce that it has completed its due diligence with respect to a letter of intent executed on November 30, 1995 to expand the paging operations of an arm of the Chinese military into a nationwide paging network with full roaming capability. Phase 1, which will begin immediately after the execution of a final contract, comprises at least 12 cities and the total build-out in the next 5 years will include the 7 major trading areas of China.
