APAC Action.Adapted Physical Education Adapted physical education is a sub-discipline of physical education. It is an individualized program created for students who require a specially designed program for more than 30 days. It is the largest state-supported university for women in the country. (TWU) is hosting an adapted physical activity conference, February 15-16,2001, entitled--Pioneers oft he Past, Trailblazers of the Future: A Celebration of Adapted Activity for ALL. Keynote speakers include Jim Rimmer, Ro DiBrezzo, Ron Davis, and TWU faculty members Jean Pyfer, Ron French, and Claudine Sherrill.
