check printing solution - a system designed to create optimal security, efficiency, and automation for accounting departments. Developed to combat the escalating trends in check fraud, SecureCheck-PRO includes state-of-the art security features that are helping businesses meet Sarbanes-Oxley section 404 compliance requirements for internal controls.

SecureCheck-PRO has embedded high security into every component - hardware, software, and the printed check - to help organizations protect themselves against both internal and external check fraud at all stages of the check disbursement process. Offering multiple layers of security, SecureCheck-PRO allows an organization to configure their system to meet their exact security requirements with regards to both operations and printed-check security.

Features such as pre- and post-printing controls keep financial department managers apprised of all check-printing and system activities - creating the ability for management to react quickly. SecureCheck-PRO also offers the capability to place specialized security features on each check, such as the new security watermark feature that prints payee name and amount across the face of the check to make alteration nearly impossible. For administrator review, SecureCheck-PRO also provides an extensive audit and event log, along with the ability to create and access digital copies.

The system is engineered to provide significant time-and-cost savings for multi-user, multi-workstation check processing environments with features that automate check-printing tasks, accelerate production time, and eliminate possible human error. The ability to automatically create digital copies in PDF format also provides a more efficient and cost-effective way to create, store, and review check copies.

The SecureCheck-PRO system operates by auditing check data and then merging this data with a check outline at the printer to create complete checks on blank stock. The system is compatible with virtually every operating system and accounting application.

"With the introduction of SecureCheck-PRO, AP Technology continues to lead the way in setting the industry standard for MICR laser check printing technology. SecureCheck-PRO allows organizations to utilize and add modules to meet their exact requirements for check processing, security, and internal controls that will assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. We are confident that no other check printing solution available today offers the type of flexibility in design and pricing that is provided by SecureCheck-PRO," states AP Technology Chief Executive Officer, Richard Love.
