AP Technology's Release of SecurePay v6.0 Brings Full Web-Automation to Positive Pay File Transmission.


CARLSBAD, Calif. -- AP Technology, a leading provider of business-banking connectivity solutions, announces today the release of SecurePay v6.0 Professional, the first-and-only, client-side software for positive pay file conversion See conversion. and transmission that offers secure and fully-automated upload of positive pay files in the required format via the bank's website.

SecurePay v6.0 offers the enhanced capability of integrated web transmission that can automate the task of sending positive pay files to the bank's website. Once SecurePay v6.0 converts accounting application data to a positive pay file, a web transmission can take place either immediately or at a scheduled time based on the user's requirements.

Transmitting positive pay files via the bank's website ensures data protection through the robust security and encryption methods already implemented by the bank. It also permits the bank to reduce their reliance on modems and create a single point of delivery for all positive pay files.

Additionally, SecurePay v6.0 improves overall security by providing advanced notification capabilities that give designated recipients the opportunity to review files prior to transmission and stay informed when file transfers and events occur. As more banks adopt payee
