Building on its existing valuable content offerings from leading education industry providers, AOL@SCHOOL is incorporating these resources into its free online service as part of its mission to help students, teachers and parents more effectively harness the power of the Internet in the classroom and at home. Recognizing the need to offer free and convenient access to high-quality online educational resources, AOL@SCHOOL has secured agreements with these leaders in the education field. AOL@SCHOOL users will be able to access the online version of Britannica Concise for their research and reference needs. In addition, through its agreement with the United Nations Association of the U.S.A. (UNA-USA UNA-USA United Nations Association of the United States of America ), AOL@SCHOOL users will have access to UNA-USA's Model U.N. resources and have the opportunity to be the first-ever "AOL Ambassador" to participate in the world-renown National High School Essay Contest on the United Nations.
