AOL invests in Test University. (test U).
AOL (A division of Time Warner, Inc., New York, NY, www.aol.com) The world's largest online information service with access to the Internet, e-mail, chat rooms and a variety of databases and services. Time Warner recently led a round of investors in buying a $9.5
million stake in Test University. The latter is a for-profit for-prof·it adj. Established or operated with the intention of making a profit: a for-profit organization. online
testing service that helps students prepare for the SAT and ACT tests,
along with state standards tests. AOL and Test U already had a
partnership that offers free Test U products to teachers and students
who use AOL@School, AOL's free education portal. Test U will
continue to be heavily promoted on AOL's Research and Learn page.
