AOL Moviefone Inc., the nation's largest movie listing guide and ticketing service, today announced that it will host a seminar focused on the Internet and its impact on the movie industry at this year's annual ShoWest convention in Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States. , Nevada. The seminar will take place on Wednesday, March 8th at Bally's Hotel and will cover emerging methods of marketing movies and moviegoing using interactive technology.

The event will kick off with a keynote address from America Online's President of Interactive Properties, Ted Leonsis. Leonsis will discuss the rapid growth of the Internet and how it is changing consumer behavior, and will share his predictions for how the new medium will impact the motion picture industry in the near future.
