Last-minute holiday shoppers take note: AOL Movies today announced the results of its second annual "Ultimate DVD Collection" poll sponsored by Circuit City. AOL members across the country cast nearly 50,000 votes for which DVDs from the 1920s through today are essential for any movie fan's collection. AOL Movies teamed up with the editors of Entertainment Weekly to compile a list of popular DVDs from every decade, then AOL members selected one per decade to compile the 10 must-have DVDs.

"Last year's 'Ultimate DVD Collection' was such a success with our members that we wanted to once again give them the opportunity to make their voices heard," said Steven Yee, Vice President and General Manager of AOL Movies. "We think the list represents the true movie fan and serves as a great guide for those who are looking to purchase a DVD for themselves or as a special gift this holiday season."
