Robust Content from Industry-Leading Magazines Poder and Loft

America Online See AOL.  Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  (NASDAQ-SCM: AOLAC), a leading interactive services provider in Latin America, today announced a cross marketing and online content agreement with Zoom Media Group (ZMG ZMG Zeitungs Marketing Gesellschaft (Germany) ), publishers of Poder Magazine and Loft Magazine, two leading magazines aimed at regional audiences in Latin America as well as the US Hispanic market. The agreement will bring the exclusive and popular content from the two publications to AOL members throughout Latin America and creates cross-promotional opportunities between the companies.

As part of this agreement, Zoom Media will provide AOL Latin America's members in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla.  with content from its two industry-leading magazines. In addition, the companies will engage in a number of cross promotional activities including providing AOL Keywords for the magazines and prominently placed links to ZMG's Web site throughout AOL Latin America's services. In return, AOL Latin America will be promoted across ZMG's online and offline outlets. In addition, AOL Latin America will promote ZMG magazine subscriptions across its properties for which the Company will receive a portion of each new subscription revenue.

Demographically, ZMG publications attract an audience that is educated and in the higher socio-economic class Noun 1. socio-economic class - people having the same social, economic, or educational status; "the working class"; "an emerging professional class"

Poder is one of the top business publications focusing on Latin America and provides editorially independent business and political news to a vibrant audience across the region and in the US.
