At AOL Keyword: Tiempo/Clima (Spanish) or Tempo/Clima (Portuguese), AOL Latin America members have access to local, national, regional and worldwide weather information, including hourly updated reports on current conditions and regularly updated 10-day forecasts provided through weather.com, the online arm of The Weather Channel. The Weather Channel provides forecasts for more than 7,000 international cities, including more than 700 Brazilian cities and more than 100 cities each in Mexico and Argentina. The Weather Channel content will also include satellite photos, weather news, weather facts and airport conditions. In addition, the companies will engage in a variety of online and offline cross-promotional activities.

The Weather Channel cable television network reaches more than 8 million customers in Latin America through its two cable networks, El Canal del Tiempo, and O Canal do Tempo. The Weather Channel's offerings are available in customized "weather areas" across AOL Latin America's services in Brazil, Mexico and Argentina, as well as the AOL-branded service in Puerto Rico Puerto Rico (pwār`tō rē`kō), island (2005 est. pop. 3,917,000), 3,508 sq mi (9,086 sq km), West Indies, c.1,000 mi (1,610 km) SE of Miami, Fla. .
