Trostli brings more than two decades of brand-building, marketing and senior management experience to the America Online Brazil service, which has developed substantial momentum in Latin America's largest Internet market.

Trostli joins AOL Brazil from Quaker Oats Company, where he served as President of Quaker Oats' Brazilian operations with responsibility for more than $300 million in sales, 5 plants and 2,300 employees. He was also responsible for the consolidation of Quaker's foods and Gatorade beverages divisions in Brazil during his tenure.

Prior to joining Quaker, Trostli served as Commercial Director of Bestfoods, where he was in charge of sales, marketing and trade support.
