ANTs software.com, (OTCBB:ANTS) (www.antssoftware.com) a developer of advanced technologies to speed up computer processing, today gave a recap of its overall human resources upgrades and an update on its status regarding commercialization of its technologies.

Frederick D. Pettit, President and CEO of ANTs said, "As will have been apparent from our press releases over the past several months, ANTs has greatly enhanced its technology and administrative team during this period of time. We have made senior additions with prior experience at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett-Packard, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Bell Labs, Stanford University's Computer Science faculty, Genentech and other respected high technology institutions. We have also added individuals of exceptional business achievement to our Board of Directors.

"Our core activity is the development and commercialization of technologies that improve computer performance. As reported following the release of our demonstration results on January 31, we have undertaken a complete review of our technology development strategies and the underlying operational planning required to change our dreams into reality. This review has been overseen by John Williams, Ph.D., chairman of our Technology Review Committee, member of our Advisory Board, founder and Vice President of R&D of Broadquest, Inc., and a former senior member of IBM's Almaden Research Center. The Technology Review Committee is composed of all managing directors, John and me."

Pettit went on to report that the concluding document of the first phase of the Company's Technology Review Committee work would be finished by May 15, 2000. This document will be used to guide, measure and recalibrate the Company's internal development efforts, but for competitive reasons, will remain confidential. However, ANTs confirmed that milestones and results achieved would be the subject of future public releases.

The work done in conjunction with the Technology Review Committee's requirements was reported to have validated the Company's public comments over the past several months regarding its technology platform and its revised approach to vendor interfacing. Specifically, ANTs said it was confident that it was now firmly set on a course that will enable it to interface the Company's software to any major vendor's applications that perform commutative operations. The Company also confirmed its prior statements that it was confident this could be accomplished within the usual standards of information technology industry cooperation, i.e. no need for special or unusual agreements.

The Company said its next key objective is to provide test results based on its new technology platform that demonstrate ANTs performance improvements on an application compared with the same application without ANTs. ANTs has targeted release of such results during the third calendar quarter of this year. The exact timing of this release was said to be largely dependent on the Company's ability to attract quality staff in its highly competitive market at the encouraging rates it has experienced over the recent past.
