ANTRIM will review their options after the GAA's Management Committee last night decided to press ahead with the hurling relegation play-offs. The semi-finals will now take place next Saturday with the Saffrons facing Offaly while Wexford and Clare also pair off. The two losers will then play a relegation final to decide who makes the drop to next year's Christy Ring Cup The Christy Ring Cup is in effect a competition for the "Division 2" hurling teams, the so-called middle-ranking hurling teams in Ireland. It is an extension of the Guinness All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the premier knock-out hurling competition. , with Carlow moving up to the top tier.
