ANTON DULSKI APPOINTED PRESIDENT, MINTEQ INTERNATIONAL INC.; DAVID ROSENBERG NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, MINTEQ-EUROPE.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--October 26, 1995--The Board of Directors of Minerals Technologies Inc. (NYSE: MTX) today elected Anton Dulski a vice president of the corporation and appointed him president of minteq International Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary. Minerals Technologies also announced that David Rosenberg will succeed Mr. Dulski as vice president, minteq-Europe. These changes become effective January 1, 1996.

Mr. Dulski, who will report to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jean-Paul Valles, will succeed James C. O'Donoghue, who will retire from Minerals Technologies on February 1, 1996. Mr. Dulski joined the company in 1967 in Technical Services. In 1970, he became manager of Eastern European operations. He assumed positions of increasing responsibility including product manager, marketing manager-USA, and president of the company's operations in Japan. In 1992, Mr. Dulski was appointed vice president of minteq International-Eastern Europe, Germany and South Africa. In 1993, he became senior vice president of minteq-Europe.

Mr. Rosenberg joined the company in 1980 as finance director in South Africa. In March of 1993 he became managing director of minteq operations in South Africa. Mr. O'Donoghue, who made major contributions to minteq in his more than 30 years service, will remain a vice president of the corporation until his retirement, helping in the transition.
