ANTEON CORPORATION AWARDED U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY CONTRACT.

Anteon Corporation, an information technology and engineering solutions company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Department of Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) to provide professional and technical services for the Biological Resources Division (BRD) Western Regional Office. Anteon's estimated value for this five-year (base plus four option years) is $19 million.

Anteon will provide support services in a number of areas, including administration and management, biological research, information management, mapping, database development and management, computer system administration, geographic information systems (GIS), remote sensing and image processing. The work will be conducted throughout the BRD Western Region, which includes Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona.
