ANTEON AWARDED U.S. ARMY SECURITY ASSISTANCE TRAINING SUPPORT CONTRACT.

Anteon Corporation, a leading information technology and engineering solutions company has been awarded a five-year (one year base plus four one-year options) contract by the U.S. Army TRADOC Acquisition Center to support the Army's Security Assistance Training Management Organization (USASATMO).

The USASATMO contract has a total value of approximately $31 million, and Anteon is one of three awardees.

Anteon will provide services in support of the USASATMO whose mission is to plan, form, prepare, deploy overseas, sustain and re-deploy U.S.-based Security Assistance Teams. These teams, deployed in support of U.S. foreign policy, may be in the form of Mobile Training, Technical Assistance, Requirements Survey, Extended Training Service and Technical Assistance Field teams. A primary purpose of these teams is to provide technical and training support and assistance to foreign military forces relevant to equipment and technology provided by the United States.
