ANTEON AWARDED ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS CONTRACT.

Anteon Corporation, a provider of information technology and engineering solutions, announced recently that it has been awarded a $1.2 million contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to implement a facilities and equipment maintenance system at approximately 50 Corps sites. The work will be performed by Anteon's Software Solutions Center in Montgomery, Ala.

Under a previous 1.8 million dollar tasking, Anteon modified a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) facilities and equipment maintenance software to meet Corps of Engineer facility/equipment tracking, management and maintenance requirements. At selected sites Anteon will begin the implementation process, which includes training data conversion, and on-site implementation support. Under future tasking, Anteon is expected to implement the system at all remaining Corps districts and sites.
