ANTEON AWARDED $20.8 MILLION U.S. NAVY CONTRACT.


The U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is the largest of the U.S. Navy's five "systems commands," or materiel organizations. ) has awarded Anteon a task order valued at approximately $20.8 million. The five-year (base plus four option years) task order was awarded under the NAVSEA Multiple Award Contract (MAC) to provide support to Team Submarine submarine, naval craft capable of operating for an extended period of time underwater. Submarines are almost always warships, although a few are used for scientific or business purposes (see also submersible). , an integrated NAVSEA organization. Anteon's Systems Engineering Group will perform the work.
