TODAY: Lynyrd Skynyrd Lynyrd Skynyrd (pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd) (or IPA pronunciation: [lɛ'nɝd skɪ'nɝd]) is an iconic U.S. Southern rock band. , 7:30 p.m. Hours 4 p.m.-midnight. Admission is free for children age 11 and younger, seniors age 62 and older, or handicapped people. Fairgrounds n. pl. 1. same as fairground.  will open at 2 p.m. for seniors and the handicapped.

The Antelope Valley
 Fair in Lancaster on Monday morning. Showmanship competitions, such as this one featuring pigs, take place before the fair is open to the public. Contestants had to walk their pigs around the ring among other swine and control the movement of the animal. For more photos, see Page 2.
