Kristel Jones, who averaged a team-high 16 points a game and was selected to the All-Foothill Conference team as a freshman, is academically ineligible. Jameka Taylor, also an all-conference selection, has moved to San Diego to be with her family. ``In Kristel's case, we would love to have her back,'' Taylor said. ``But she needs to get her academics back together. Once she does, there will be a lot of Division I programs knocking at her door. And Jameka, well, I respect her choice. ``We had a pretty good recruiting year and we're not going to rely on any one player this season. That will make us a better team overall.''
