ANTELOPE VALLEY BRIEFLY\Prison panel to meet at Lancaster City Hall.

LANCASTER - The Citizen's Advisory Committee of the California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W).  State Prison, Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County will meet today, prison officials said.

The meeting is scheduled at 4 p.m. at Lancaster City Hall's Emergency Operations quarters, 44933 Fern Ave. and is open to the public.

PALMDALE - The Men's Senior Baseball League will hold tryouts this weekend for its upcoming season, officials said.

Anyone 18 years and older can attend the tryouts beginning at noon at Highland High School Highland High School or Highlands High School may refer to:
