The event will start at 4 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Indoor Swapmeet on Division Street north of Avenue K with a bake contest, bake sale “Bake Sale” redirects here. For the episode from the TV show 8 Simple Rules, see List of 8 Simple Rules episodes.

A bake sale is a fundraising activity where baked goods such as doughnuts, cupcakes and cookies, sometimes along with ethnic foods, are sold.
, cakewalk, craft sale, car raffle, dance contest and live entertainment.

At 5 p.m., entertainment will begin at Dimples Family Fun Center, 1050 Commerce Center Drive A, Lancaster, with a pizza eating contest, Skee-Ball competition and a raffle for an arcade game An arcade game is a coin-operated entertainment machine, typically installed in businesses such as restaurants, pubs, video arcades, and Family Entertainment Centers. Most arcade games are redemption games, merchandisers, video games or pinball machines. .

The telethon will be aired live from the swap meet by KPAL from 4 to 7 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will benefit 12-year-old Jennifer Jo Jenkins, a Palmdale resident who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder and needs a bone marrow transplant bone marrow transplant: see bone marrow. .
