LANCASTER - Art Nash, who served on the Lancaster Planning Commission Noun 1. planning commission - a commission delegated to propose plans for future activities and developments

 from 1990 to 1994, has taken out candidacy papers for a City Council seat in the April 9 election.

Others who have taken out papers for the race are Frank Astourian, Jacob Jacob (jā`kəb), in the Bible, ancestor of the Hebrews, the younger of Isaac and Rebecca's twin sons; the older was Esau. In exchange for a bowl of lentil soup, Jacob obtained Esau's birthright and, with his mother's help, received the blessing  Flaming flaming - flame  Jr., David Korczyk, George Root and Joseph Villanueva. James Jeffra filed his papers, making him the first official candidate for the seat.
