ANTELOPE VALLEY: BRIEFLY : VOLUNTEERS WILL PUT TRAIL BACK IN SHAPE.


ANGELES NATIONAL FOREST The Angeles National Forest (ANF) was established by executive order on December 20, 1892 as the San Gabriel Timberland Reserve. It covers over 2,600 km² (650,000 acres) and is located in the San Gabriel Mountains of Los Angeles County, just north of the metropolitan area of Los  - Volunteers on Saturday will prune vegetation and repair storm damage to the Manzanita manzanita: see bearberry.  Trail south of Pearblossom.

Alpine School open for Saturday event

LITTLEROCK - A book fair, parenting workshops, textbook display, children's theater performances and summer school and youth football performances are part of the Family Academy scheduled for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Alpine Elementary School elementary school: see school. .

The event is sponsored by the Keppel Union School District Mentor Teachers. Food will be sold from noon to 1 p.m. by the Keppel Education Foundation.

Alpine Elementary School is at 8244 Pearblossom Highway.
