ANTELOPE VALLEY: BRIEFLY : TEEN HIT BY CAR, IN SERIOUS CONDITION.LANCASTER - A 14-year-old Palmdale girl was listed in serious condition Friday after she was hit by a car, sheriff's officials said. Latisha Trigg-Brown, was hit by a 1994 Toyota Camry at 2:30 p.m. Thursday as she ran across 20th Street East just south of Avenue J. The teen-ager was treated at the scene by paramedics for head injuries and then transported to Antelope Valley Hospital, said Los Angeles Fire Capt. Larry Tucker. SOURCE: Daily News A.V. club plans to hold fund-raiser LANCASTER - The Latin American Club of the Antelope Valley will hold its monthly breakfast meeting at 9 a.m. Sunday at the club building, 324 W. Norberry St. The menu will be American and Mexican fare, including pancakes, huevos, beans, rice, chips and salsa. The community is invited to attend, and children are welcome. The price is $5 for adults, $2 for children. All proceeds will go toward the club's general fund, which pays for English classes, Christmas baskets, the annual Latin American Queen pageant, parade entries, the Fourth of July picnic and other programs.
