VAN NUYS - A 21-year-old Lancaster man was sentenced Thursday to 131 years to life in prison for a home invasion home invasion

Curtis Daniels was convicted in April of eight counts, including robbery, sexual assault and false imprisonment false imprisonment, complete restraint upon a person's liberty of movement without legal justification. Actual physical contact is not necessary; a show of authority or a threat of force is sufficient. The person falsely imprisoned may sue the offender for damages. . Daniels had maintained his innocence, saying he was baby-sitting his daughter when the crime occurred.

After the prosecutor read into the court record a four-page letter from the female victim, the defendant clapped, officials said.

The Nov. 17 robbery began when three armed men entered through the unlocked front door at a residence in the 600 block of East Woodington Drive and ordered two men and two women to lie down. Co-defendant Craig Spratley, 25, of Lancaster is awaiting trial, and the third suspect is still at large.

Richard David Bamrick, 33, a scout and organizer of an international youth team, is now scheduled for a July 2 preliminary hearing in Newhall Municipal Court.

His attorney requested the delay to further investigate the three felony charges brought last week by the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County District Attorney's Office.

Held in lieu of $250,000 bail, Bamrick is accused of molesting two boys, ages 10 and 11, at practices June 1 and 2. He was arrested after one of the boys told his mother, deputies said.

Investigators say at least one other accusation has been brought against the man by the father of an 11-year-old New Mexico New Mexico, state in the SW United States. At its northwestern corner are the so-called Four Corners, where Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah meet at right angles; New Mexico is also bordered by Oklahoma (NE), Texas (E, S), and Mexico (S).  youth.
