ANTELOPE VALLEY: BRIEFLY : PALMDALE THEATER TO HOST ART EXHIBIT.


PALMDALE - An open house from 7 to 9 p.m. today will let the public view the new art exhibit at Palmdale Playhouse, 38334 10th St. E.

The exhibit features works by Cyndee Gero-Moore, Lynnette Wilson, Thomas Brown There have been several notable individuals named Thomas Brown, including:
  • Thomas Brown (Australian federal politician), 20th century Australian politician
  • Thomas Brown (bishop) (d.
 and others. The exhibit will run through May 13.

Art exhibitions at the theater are open for public viewing prior to all performances and by appointment weekdays by calling (805) 267-5684.

A.V. fair to recruit potential teachers

LAKE HUGHES - Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  County sheriff's deputies searched for two teen-agers Friday night after they walked away from a probation camp, sheriff's officials said.

Officials from Camp Mendenhall, a Los Angeles County juvenile probation camp, contacted sheriff's deputies shortly after 10:30 p.m. after the two had not reported back to the facility.

The search was called off after deputies could not locate a 16-year-old jailed for assault, and a 14-year-old jailed for burglary.
