Officials said the store at 20th Street West and Avenue K was robbed shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday.

``It looks like one of them carried a handgun while the other one was armed with a knife,'' said Lt. Steven Fredericks.

After taking approximately $500 in rolls of quarters and other cash, the two men ran from the store and then rode from the scene in a small red compact car, officials said.
