Stark will begin her duties this week as liaison between McKeon and area government agencies, businesses, groups and individual constituents.

Stark grew up in the Antelope Valley and graduated from Paraclete High School Paraclete High School is a Catholic High School in Lancaster, CA operated independently of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles. 186 seniors graduated in the 2006-2007 school year. . Lancaster's Shelton to hold public forum

LANCASTER - City Councilwoman Deborah Shelton will host a resident liaison meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Lancaster United Methodist Church United Methodist Church, in the United States, religious body formed by the union in 1968 of the Evangelical United Brethren Church and the Methodist Church (see Methodism). , 918 W. Ave. J, Room 16.

Agenda items include a review of the City Council meeting held Nov. 25. After the meeting, Shelton will be available for one-on-one discussions until 9 p.m.

Football teams set for Shriners benefit

BAKERSFIELD - Shriners hospitals will benefit from the Shrine Potato Bowl Football Classic on Saturday between Mount San Antonio Mount San Antonio, better known to most in Los Angeles as Old Baldy or Mount Baldy, is the highest peak in the San Gabriel Mountains of Southern California, USA and the highest point in Los Angeles County. Mount San Antonio has two summits.  and Bakersfield colleges.

The game will start at noon at Bakersfield College. Tickets are $10 each and are tax deductible. For ticket information, call the Kern County Shrine Club at (805) 831-9605 or Bakersfield College at (805) 395-9605.
