EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE Edwards Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 301,000 acres (121,805 hectares), S Calif., NE of Lancaster; est. 1933. Residents eligible for composting bin

LANCASTER - Lancaster residents can pick up a free backyard composting bin and recycling guide at City Hall, 44933 Fern Ave., between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.

Proof of residency is required to obtain a free bin and a copy of the recycling guide. Residents must present a driver's license Noun 1. driver's license - a license authorizing the bearer to drive a motor vehicle

 and a recent trash bill as proof they reside in the city.
