SOURCE: - Daily News Police identify man slain in Lancaster LANCASTER - A man shot to death in his home in a slaying investigators say may have been linked to narcotics has been identified as James May, 28, coroner's officials said. May was found dead in his home early Friday morning by sheriff's deputies after receiving a 911 call from a neighbor. Homicide investigators say three males entered through the man's unlocked door just before 1 a.m. Friday, blindfolded a woman visitor who was also in the home and took May into another room where they shot him. SOURCE: - Daily News Sheriff's reserves seek to outfit site LANCASTER - The Antelope Valley Sheriff's Reserves' Search and Rescue Team is seeking donations of trailers, a generator, and supplies to equip a mobile emergency operations center. ``This is something that we would be able to set up in case of an emergency or power outage,'' said Sgt. Mike Becker. The team needs two small trailers, folding chairs, stand-up light, electrical extension cords, small generators, lights, maps and folding tables. ``The items don't have to be new,'' said Becker. ``We're just looking for items that people may have lying around their home that are still usable but are not using anymore and may want to donate.
