ANTEC Corporation Elects Samuel K. Skinner to Board of Directors.


ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--February 27, 1995--ANTEC Corporation today announced that Samuel K. Skinner, President of Commonwealth Edison, has been elected a director of ANTEC Corporation effective March 1, 1995. Skinner has been President of ComEd, one of the nation's largest electric utilities, since February 1, 1993. Before joining ComEd, Skinner was Chief of Staff to President George Bush and prior to that, the US Secretary of Transportation. From 1977 to 1989, Skinner was a senior partner at the Chicago law firm, Sidley & Austin.
