ANOTHER TRIMUPH: Moscow Flyer Moscow Flyer was a top-class National Hunt horse over distances between 2 miles and 2 1/2 miles (3.2-4 km). He won the Queen Mother Champion Chase in 2003 and 2005, the Tingle Creek Trophy in 2003 and 2004 and the Arkle Challenge Trophy in 2002.  thrilled the crowds at Aintree yesterday as he put in a hugely impressive display to take the Grade One John Smith's Melling Chase The Melling Chase is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase in the United Kingdom for five-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 2 miles 4 furlongs (4,023 metres) at Aintree Racecourse during the Grand National meeting in early April. .

The Jessica Harrington-trained 11-year-old was cruising throughout and the result never looked in doubt once he took it up turning for home. The 4-9 favourite put in a fine leap at the last for Barry Geraghty to come home easily clear of Le Roi Miguel, with Therealbandit back in third.

Therealbandit, who was stepping back in trip, set out to make all along with Kadarann, while Geraghty was having trouble settling a very keen Moscow Flyer early on.

The Queen Mother Champion Chase The Queen Mother Champion Chase is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase in the United Kingdom for five-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 2 miles (3,219 metres) at Cheltenham Racecourse during the Cheltenham Festival in March.  hero was pulling hard in second when Mister McGoldrick crashed out at the third fence, but Geraghty soon had him swinging along after Therealbandit turned up the pace a notch.

A bad mistake at the sixth knocked Kadarann totally out of contention, but Moscow Flyer was always travelling well and he took up it after three out.
