ANONYMOUS CALL LEADS DETECTIVES TO SLAIN WOMAN.

Sheriff's homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman who was shot and left in the back seat of a car Friday night.

``Deputies located the body after an anonymous telephone call was made to the Lancaster sheriff's station,'' said Deputy Debra Glafkides.

The woman, described as a white female in her 30s, was found shortly after midnight near 97th Street East and Avenue O, officials said. She was not immediately identified.
