ANNUAL CAR SHOW TO HELP SCHOOL'S AUTO PROGRAM.Byline: Joanne Crawford Education Rosamond High School's auto shop club will sponsor its third annual Car Show on May 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the school parking lot. Admission to the public viewing fund-raiser is free and the entrance fee for car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts to compete in the show is $15. Raffle tickets, at $5 each, will be sold for a turbo-hydromatic 350 transmission. Raffle tickets for $1 each will be available for various novelty and auto-related items, free dinners, hats and other prizes to be given away during drawings. Vendor and swap meet spaces are still available to rent for $10 each. The local rock band Goldfish will perform. Proceeds from the car show will benefit the school's automotive program.
