James and Patricia Skeen of Eugene will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 29 with an open house at their home.

He worked as a middle school teacher and coach in the Fern Ridge School District and as a sailing instructor. He is retired.

She worked as a middle school teacher in the Bethel School District.
