Ed and Iva Perkins of Eugene celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 4.

The couple were married Oct. 4, 1942, in Eugene.

Their children and their spouses are Marva and Jack Dasef of Eugene, Darrel and Margaret Perkins of Creswell, and Dan and Gwen Perkins of Franklin, Tenn. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Ed Perkins served in the Army Air Force for five years. He worked in logging and milling. Iva Perkins worked as a telephone operator.
