Haga

Carl Haga Sr. and Dollie Haga of Springfield celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary April 28 with a gathering of family and friends and a renewal of vows at the Odd Fellows Temple in Eugene.

The couple were married April 27, 1947, in Davy, W.Va. Their son is Carl Haga Jr.

Carl Haga Sr. served in the military for three years during World War II. He worked for 38 years as an electrician and in electronics for the departments of the Army and Navy at the U.S. Naval base in Norfolk, Va.

He is a member of VFW Post No. 293 in Eugene, Masonic Lodge No. 11 and the Odd Fellows Lodge.

Dollie Haga worked as a supervisor of the key punch section of machine operators at the Naval Ship Engineering Center in Norfolk, Va.

She is a member of the Ladies' Encampment Auxiliary No. 6 in Eugene.

Both are members of Rebekahs and Trinity Baptist Church in Springfield.
