Carlton and Joy Woodard of Cottage Grove Cottage Grove, village (1990 pop. 22,935), Washington co., SE Minn., near the St. Croix River; inc. 1965. There is farming (cattle, sheep, corn, and soybeans) and manufacturing (chemicals and machinery).  will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary Nov. 30.

The couple were married Nov. 30, 1944, in New Burn, N.C.

Their children and their spouses are Kim and Becky Woodard, Kris and Paige Woodard and Casey and Cyd Woodard, all of Eugene.

The couple have six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He worked at Woodard Lumber Company and later founded Kimwood Corp. in Cottage Grove.

She is a homemaker. She is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon.

Both are members of the Moose Moose, river, Canada
