ANNE BARTON, EDDIE'S `MOM'.Byline: Daily News VAN NUYS - Actress Anne Barton Clara. Full name Clarissa Harlowe Barton. 1821-1912. American administrator who did battlefield relief work during the Civil War and organized the American Red Cross (1881). Barton appeared on a number of television shows, including ``Gunsmoke,'' ``Have Gun Will Travel,'' ``Perry Mason,'' and ``The Twilight Zone twilight zone - [IRC] Notionally, the area of cyberspace where IRC operators live. An op is said to have a "connection to the twilight zone"..'' She also appeared in the films ``Pawnee,'' ``The Way West'' and ``Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?'' Barton is survived by her husband of 51 years, actor Dan Barton; her son, Steven, a musician; and her daughter, Susan Berman, an actress and producer. Memorial services are pending. |
