ANGUS Chemical Company, Buffalo Grove, IL, has appointed Alan Whetten director of research and development. ANGUS Chemical is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Dow Chemical Company. Mr. Whetten joined Dow in 1984 and has served in a variety of roles. In his new position, he will be responsible for running the global ANGUS R & D and technical service organizations including product, process, and application R & D development.
