The Angels have won four of their past six games, while the Red Sox lost for only the fifth time in their past 18 games. Gary DiSarcina broke out of a 3-for-25 slump when he hit his fifth home run, a two-run shot, in the second inning as the Angels took a 3-0 lead. Rex Hudler reached on an RBI single. ``That was the first time my parents saw me hit a home run in the major leagues,'' said DiSarcina, a Malden, Mass., native. ``If I retire from the game tonight I'd go out a happy player.'' Vaughn's 35th home run, a solo shot in the seventh inning, tied the game 3-3. It was Vaughn's 19th home run at Fenway Park this season. Tony Armas holds the Red Sox record with 21 home runs in one season at Fenway. ``I had been pitching Mo low but I got the ball up and if you give him a pitch up, Mo is going to hit it,'' Angels starter Shawn Boskie said.
