ANAHEIM - Vladimir Guerrero's hitting zone is about as wide as there is in baseball, and until now, it didn't seem to be a problem.

Now, opposing pitchers figure there is no reason to give Guerrero anything even remotely close to a strike, confident they can get the next batter, whoever it may be.
