The Angels have the use of the Brewers' clubhouse for the three games at Miller Park this week, but they don't have the entire run of things. Brewers manager Ned Yost Edgar Frederick "Ned" Yost III (born August 19, 1955, in Eureka, California) is a former catcher in Major League Baseball and the current manager of the Milwaukee Brewers. Did Yost's move have roots in a situation that arose with the Angels during spring training? On March 15, Scioscia took the equivalent of a skeleton crew to play the Brewers at their home park in the Phoenix area of Maryvale. Howie Kendrick was the Angels' biggest name on that day.

After the game, a 6-1 victory by the Brewers, Yost informed most of his regulars they would be getting the following day off when Milwaukee traveled to Tempe to face the Angels. Eyewitnesses to Yost's actions that day said the manager was agitated ag·i·tate

An Indians representative said clubhouse assignments were made early Monday morning, shortly after the decision was made to move the Angels-Indians series to Milwaukee. The Indians took the visiting clubhouse, according to manager Eric Wedge, because they were familiar with the surroundings having played three interleague games at Miller Park last season.

Scioscia downplayed any issue, much like he did when the Brewers took a watered-down lineup to Tempe last month.

"A manager's office is different than any coaches' room or anything else," Scioscia said. "If it happened at our ballpark it would be tough to clear everything you have out. There are just some things you don't need. I'm very comfortable; more comfortable than using somebody's office."
