 Dallas McPherson Dallas Lyle McPherson (born July 23, 1980 in Greensboro, North Carolina) is a professional baseball player, and third baseman for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Career  will be placed on the 15-day disabled list today because of an inflamed left hip.

    ``After surgery, it was only painful for two days,'' said Escobar, who expects to be back in late August or early September. ``The pills they gave me, I didn't take `em. They made me dizzy and weak. For a guy who just had surgery, I'm able to move my arm without doing (rehab).''
