``When I was in Little League my dad said if I ever get kicked out of a game I owe him $10,'' said Greene, who is appealing the suspension. ``I never had been ejected from a game until Sunday. I never even argue. I decided years ago if I was ever blatantly hit on purpose I was going to go. But when it happened I didn't think, it was just instinct. I just went.

``I don't like doing it. I hope I never have to do it again, but I will if I have to.''

The Angels were hit by pitches five times in the three-game series against the Mariners last weekend. ``Word is this guy can handle discomfort and he does heal fast,'' Collins said. ``There's no question in my mind he's ready to get out there if nothing happens today to hinder that. But he's probably going to play with some pain.''
