    Season: .272 BA, 23 HRs, 59 RBIs Career (8): .283 BA, 207 HRs, 725 RBIs Size limits range in outfield so DH role is likely. Could take over in left and allow Garret Anderson to move to DH. Brewers likely would request pitching.

    Washington Nationals, 2B/left field

    Season: .282 BA, 24 HRs, 51 RBIs

    Career (8): .280 BA, 186 HRs, 516 RBIs Not thrilled with playing LF but it hasn't hurt offensive production. Likely would DH with Angels. Minor-league shortstop Brandon Wood probably requested in any deal.

    MIGUEL TEJADA

    Baltimore Orioles, shortstop

    Season: 318 BA, 16 HRs, 54 RBIs

    Career (10): .282 BA, 232 HRs 906 RBIs Could be moved to third base. Orioles likely would request starting pitching.

    CRAIG WILSON

    Pittsburgh Pirates, first base/outfield

    Season: .272 BA, 11 HRs, 35 RBIs

    Career (6): .268 BA, 92 HRs, 35 RBIs Versatility adds to value. Could come cheaper than the rest because he already has requested a trade. Pirates likely to ask for some combination of organization's top prospects.

    McPherson shelved: Dallas McPherson blamed a herniated disc in his back for the back spasms that forced him onto the 15-day disabled list Saturday. Erick Aybar was recalled to take his place.

    All-Star hopes: Vladimir Guerrero and Orlando Cabrera each stand a solid chance of making the American League All-Star team, even if they don't win the popular vote. Both are good friends with Ozzie Guillen, who is manager of the AL team. Guerrero and Cabrera know Guillen from their Montreal Expos days when Guillen was third-base coach.
