Escobar will next have to worry about getting warm in the bullpen. The right-hander, who began the season in the Angels' starting rotation, will work in relief when he returns to active duty on Tuesday.

Escobar has been on the disabled list since early June when he underwent surgery to remove bone spurs from his right elbow. He's made seven appearances this season, all as a starter, but says pitching in relief definitely beats not pitching at all.

``I feel like a kid, like I just got called up for the first time to the major leagues,'' Escobar said. ``It's been a long time for me being hurt and finally I can get out and play.''
