Erstad tried to run during early batting practice but had to stop because of intense pain. He was out all of May and almost half of June with the same problem. ``I couldn't even try to fool myself,'' Erstad said. ``It goes back to what I said before: are you hurting the team or helping the team? They gave me a few days but I can't keep hurting the team. I can't help.''
